About Same Day and New Delhi Tour

This Private Old and New Delhi Tour by Car is perfect for travelers who want to experience the old and new sides of Delhi in the same day. You will explore the historical monuments, markets, and religious sights of Old Delhi, and then experience the monuments of New Delhi.

Your tour begins in the morning with a pick-up from your hotel in Delhi. From there, you will drive to Old Delhi and visit attractions such as the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and Chandni Chowk. You will also have the opportunity to browse through the colorful markets of Old Delhi.

The Lotus Temple is a Bahai House of Worship located in New Delhi, India. It was completed in 1986 and serves as the Mother Temple of the Indian subcontinent. It has won numerous architectural awards and been featured in hundreds of newspaper and magazine articles. The Lotus Temple has become a prominent attraction in Delhi and is one of the most visited buildings in the world. The building is composed of 27 free-standing marble-clad "petals" arranged in clusters of three to form nine sides, with nine doors opening onto a central hall with a height of slightly over 34.27 metres and a capacity of 2,500 people. The Lotus Temple stands in the midst of nine pools and a garden with its 27 white marble petals. The temple is open to all, regardless of religion or any other qualification. The temple is used by the Bahai community to host the Nineteen Day Feast and other prayer services, study circles, and devotional gatherings.

Qutub Minar

Qutub Minar is a minaret that forms part of the Qutub complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Mehrauli area of Delhi, India. The tower is made of red sandstone and marble and stands 73 meters (239.5 feet) high. It is the tallest brick minaret in the world and is located in the Qutub complex, which contains several other historical monuments. The Qutub Minar was built by Qutb-ud-din Aibak of the Slave Dynasty, who took possession of Delhi in 1206. The minaret has five distinct storeys, each marked by a projecting balcony and tapers from a 15 m diameter base to just 2.5 m at the top. The first three storeys are made of red sandstone; the fourth and fifth storeys are of marble and sandstone. A circular staircase with 379 steps leads to the top of the minaret. Inside the tower is a spiral staircase of 379 steps that leads to the top.

Humayun's Tomb

Humayun's Tomb is a tomb complex located in Delhi, India. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Humayun in 1569. The tomb is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is considered to be the first mature example of Mughal architecture. It was designed by MirakMirza Ghiyas and his son, Sayyed Muhammad, and is believed to have been modeled after Persian and Timurid precedents. Akshardham Temple

The temple complex was built by the Bochasanwasi ShriAkshar Purushottam SwaminarayanSanstha (BAPS) spiritual organization and was inaugurated in 2005. The complex features a large temple, a cultural boat ride, an exhibition on the 10,000-year-old Indian culture and a musical fountain show. The monument is made up of 234 ornately carved pillars, 9 ornate domes, 20 quadrangled shikhars and 20,000 murtis and statues of Hindu gods, goddesses, and saints.

Parliament House

The Parliament House is the building which houses the Parliament of Australia. The building is located in the capital city of Canberra and was completed in 1988. It is located on Capital Hill and is the meeting place for Australia's two houses of parliament, the House of Representatives and the Senate. The Parliament House is a large and impressive building, and is a popular tourist attraction in the city. Inside the building, visitors can take a guided tour and learn more about the history and workings of the Australian Parliament.
